If you'd like to discover how Gurus and Wizards are made, keep reading.  I can promise you, you won't be disappointed. I've been studying this subject for the better part of the last 20 years.

But it wasn't until the late 1990's that I began purposely applying these principles, techniques and "secrets" to my own business ventures.   The Gurus and "How-To" Wizards of the past left behind enough "clues" and lessons from history which could be applied to any niche or area of business.

Sure enough, the same secrets that helped me prosper in 1999 worked again in 2007.  From publishing small booklets in the late 90's to creating a press release and publicity business in 2007, the Guru/Wizard strategies were alive and well!

As I was busy creating my very first product over what otherwise would have been like any other weekend... certain thoughts kept bouncing around in the "back rooms" of my mind.  If ever I was the recipient of you might call a "moment of destiny" - it was at that moment.  It was like "Morpheus" telling "Neo" in the Matix -

"This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed tomorrow morning and life goes on.  You can believe whatever you want to believe. By the end of the weekend, my first product was finished and ready to go.  And finally, after deliberating within my mind for three days... I made the decision to "go through the door" and "walk down the path."  I decided to pursue the way of the "How-To" Guru/Wizard. 

The Rest Became History - Most Importantly, My Own!

That's how it all started back in the late 1990's.  I became a "How-To" Guru in the booklet publishing niche, becoming popular for selling paper and ink publications such as "Car Buying Secrets" and "How-To Repair Your Poor Credit Rating."  After that, I retired for almost two years doing absolutely nothing but living the life and doing all the things people with time to spare are able to do.  It was then that I discovered, my true passion was in climbing the mountains... not resting on the summit. 

From there, I entered the publicity, press release marketing niche.  I activated the "Wizard/Guru" power wound up getting hired by a few celebrities as well as a few local Florida Investment firms as a consultant.  And finally, I returned to my "first love" to continue with the publishing "How-To" information business.  This time, however, focusing up creating information products/reports in a downloadable format. 

I have personally met and befriended several Gurus and Wizards from different areas and niches over the last three years.  Naturally, I couldn't help but study and analyze their habits, philosophies and techniques.  This is a topic I have studied and researched for the better part of the past 20 years.  It's one thing to study, though, and quite another to practice the actual things you've been reading about.  And now, I've learned what works and what doesn't from hands on experience.  Not theory.  It did take me a while to get started.  Being a target for criticism (it goes with the territory) isn't something I looked forward to, I'll tell you that.  But finally, the pros seemed to outweigh the cons and I took the plunge.  Looking back, my only regret is that I waited as long as I did (until my mid to later 30's).
